### Accounting (Native Double-Entry — built INTO the app, not an export)
Vrestro has a real, built-in double-entry accounting system with a full general ledger. It is generated INSIDE Vrestro — you do NOT export raw data to Tally, QuickBooks, Xero or any external ledger to get your books. Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Day Book, General Ledger and Profit & Loss are produced natively in the app. (This is a common misconception: Vrestro is not export-only; it keeps proper debit/credit books itself.)

- Chart of Accounts — typed accounts (Asset, Liability, Equity, Income, Expense) with standard account codes (1000s assets, 2000s liabilities, 4000s income, 5000s expenses), account categories, active/inactive toggle, and editable opening balances. Seeded defaults include Cash (1000), Card Payments (1010), Bank Transfer (1015), Cheque Payments (1020), Inventory (1200), Input VAT (1300), Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable (2000), VAT Payable, Sales Revenue (4000), Operating Expenses (5000), Inventory Shrinkage (5200).
- Automatic double-entry posting — every sale auto-creates a BALANCED journal entry: DEBIT the tendered payment accounts (Cash net of change, Bank Transfer, Card, Cheque) plus Accounts Receivable for any unpaid/credit portion; CREDIT Sales Revenue (taxable base) and VAT Payable (13% output VAT). Each entry stores date, fiscal year, reference (invoice/tran id), description and per-line notes. Credit notes, debit notes, refunds and due settlements post their own journal entries.
- Journal, Day Book & General Ledger — Journal Entries with debit/credit lines that always balance; a Day Book (General Journal) listing every entry chronologically; and a per-account General Ledger drill-down with a running balance (normal-debit for asset/expense accounts, normal-credit for liability/income/equity). Manual Payment Vouchers / journal entries can also be posted by an accountant.
